In July ,1,2021, 9.00 a.m. Research Institute for Health Sciences (RIHS), Walailak University collaborate with Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI) Organized an academic conference and present the research in health sciences via Zoom at Mokhalan Meeting Room and 15/3 meeting room, 2nd floor, Administration Building, Walailak University under the topic “WU-HSRI conference on Health Science Research”
Asst.Prof.Dr.Udomsak Saengow the director of the research institute for health science said “at the present, the importance of health and public health is a matter of human nature that everyone can access, understand and use the benefit from health science by themselves including in terms of policy Public health, commercial, community and area and academic. The objectives of today’s academic conference gave space for presenting the research of faculty members in health sciences and those interested in doing research related to health sciences. In this regard, the presentation stage will be able to increase the quality of research from the process of exchanging knowledge between researchers and experts from the Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI) and experts from Walailak University. The presentation determined into 2 topics: Public Health, Health System, Social and Health and Biomedical Science, Health Technology and Innovation that will develop the research in public health for new researchers to create a variety of works and be a channel for new researchers to present their work to be known and a guideline for further development. The academic conference lasted for 1 day. 12 faculty members presented the research and more than 50 participants attended the presentations.”
Prof.Dr. Wanna Choorit, vice president for research and community services said “she was delighted and honored to open an academic conference and present the research in health science on the topic WU-HSRI conference on Health Science Research that the faculty members presented the research together for developing the research to be more successful and concrete along with developing the knowledge of researchers.”

Therefore, it is appropriate to support quality research. leading to new knowledge-creating the benefits of research be accepted and be a world-class standard, and it is a model of learning and knowledge source for researchers. Organizing this academic conference project, the university was realized the mutual benefit of researchers in developing university to achieve the goals with quality and the benefits of research that can increase the chances of success for research articles and researchers. in this organization an award for “excellent” research presentation was announced in Parallel session 1: Public Health, Health System, Social and Health, namely Dr. Suriyon Uitrakul (School of Pharmacy), Dr. Tida Sottiyotin (School of Pharmacy), Dr. Auemphon Mordmuang (School of Medicine) and Dr. Khomkrip Longlalerng (School of Allied Health Sciences).
As for the award winners for “excellent” research presentations in Parallel session 2: Biomedical Science, Health Technology and Innovation, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Voravuth Somsak (School of Allied Health Sciences), Asst. Prof. Dr. Moragot Chatatikun (School of Allied Health Sciences), Dr. Litavadee Chuaboon (School of Pharmacy), and Dr. Watcharapong Mitsuwan (Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College).
